An Example of Invasive Species Data Synthesis (back to datasets and databases page)

Sample dataset synthesis: We merged the county level Biota of North America (BONAP) Program's museum specimen - based datset with USGS plot data collected throughout Colorado, a U.S. Forest Service dataset including survey data for wilderness areas in Colorado, and other Colorado plot data, point, line, polygon data, and species lists from national parks and found that the BONAP dataset could be improved by the addition of these other datasets.
